If you're an NGO reaching out for CSR partnerships, your first challenge is simple but crucial: getting your email opened.


Here’s how to boost your chances in a crowded inbox:


1. Craft a Compelling Subject Line:


Keep it clear, relevant, and benefit-driven. Examples:

  • "Empowering 500 Girls – Seeking Your CSR Support"

  • "How Your CSR Can Transform a Community in [Region]"


Avoid vague lines like “Partnership Proposal”. Instead, hint at impact.


2. Personalise Where You Can:


Use the CSR manager’s name and reference any past campaigns or values aligned with your cause. Personalisation builds connection.

3. Keep the First Line Strong:


The preview text matters.

Mention your FCRA/80G status, big milestones, or a known partner briefly within the first few lines.


5. Timing Matters:


Avoid Monday mornings and Friday evenings. Mid-week (Tues-Thurs), between 10 AM – 1 PM, often works best.
